• I live in Brooklyn with a beautiful and talented woman who I somehow convinced to marry me.
  • I have been playing drums since I was 5 and, for a brief stint while in law school, was in a band that gigged in New York City and California.
  • When not on the clock, I enjoy spending my time playing (mediocre) basketball, hiking and biking, reading, and rooting for my Michigan Wolverines (Go Blue!) and Chicago Bulls.

New York Metro Super Lawyer Rising Star, 2021 – 2022

David began his career as an associate with a major New York City-based corporate law firm. Among other representations, David participated in proffer sessions with the DOJ and SEC and worked on a multibillion-dollar accounting malpractice case that went to trial in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York and garnered considerable media attention.

Determined to put his legal skills to use for the public good, and with nearly two years of litigation experience under his belt, David left private practice for a job with Everytown for Gun Safety. While at Everytown, David worked both as a litigator and as policy counsel, helping to draft and promote legislation designed to reduce gun violence.

David joined Bantle & Levy LLP as an Associate in September 2018.

David is currently a member of the Civil Rights Committee of the New York City Bar Association, the New York chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association, and the National Police Accountability Project.
